This
unscented base
is ready to use as is. Skin-safe fragrance may be added per the fragrance manufacturer's recommended usage rates.
Sugar is derived from sugar cane juice, a natural source of glycolic acid. The granular texture of sugar will help to remove dirt and toxins from the skin's outer layer, gently exfoliating dead cells. Sugar scrub will also help improve blood flow to the skin's surface, while jojoba oil will sink in to replenish lost moisture. Leaves body soft & moisturized providing minerals, vitamins and proteins to the skin while it polishes.
Body scrubs contain natural ingredients which vary in color from batch to batch. Product images are meant to give you a guideline of what you can expect. Actual product color may vary.

Sugar scrub or Icee?
This product was not what I expected it to be for a sugar scrub but I like it! I will be ordering it again! It looks like a cola icee! Different but nice!

Best on the market!
This is my second tub of the brown sugar scrub. I've sampled five other sugar scrub bases, and this suits me best. It can hold scent without becoming too slushy. The oils in it are a marvelous blend that leave everyone I gift it to clamoring for more. Holds up well, even past the expiration date, tho I don't mean recommend doing so. Love the way it makes my skin feel so smooth and soft -even my gnarly callused feet. Excellent product, easy to personalize.

Troubleshooting This Product:
Natural products vary in viscosity from batch to batch. The normal viscosity of our body scrub at room temperature is that of a thick paste. This product is emulsified to help reduce separation and leakage. However, temperature fluctuations both in transit to you as well as in your home or storefront will affect the viscosity of this product.
To adjust the product viscosity to your preference review the following handling tips:
Product is too stiff/thick:
This issue is most common in colder temperatures since UPS and USPS do not use temperature controlled vehicles. Often times, the product will become less stiff as it adjusts to room temperature. Allow product to sit overnight at room temperature before attempting any adjustments. You can adjust the viscosity of the product by adding a small amount of skin-safe fragrance oil - OR - one of the base oils (sunflower oil, rice bran oil or jojoba oil) combined with an equal amount of Polysorbate 80. The more oil/polysorbate blend that is added, the "looser" the product will become. Do not attempt to heat the base in a microwave or on a stove top as this can render the preservative ineffective.
Product is too runny/thin or has oil settling on top:
This issue is most common in warmer temperatures since UPS and USPS do not use temperature controlled vehicles. Often times, the product will become more stiff as it adjusts to room temperature. Allow product to sit overnight at room temperature before attempting any adjustments. You can adjust the viscosity of the product by adding additional sugar. The more sugar that is added, the "stiffer" the product will become. Do not attempt to cool in a refrigerator or freeze the base as this can render the preservative ineffective.
