This
unscented base
is ready to use as is. Skin-safe fragrance may be added per the fragrance manufacturer's recommended usage rates.
Shea Massage Oil leaves the body soft & moisturized while providing minerals, vitamins A, E, F and oleic fatty acid.
Shea Nut Oil is a by-product of shea nut butter, obtained from the nuts of the Karite tree. Shea nut oil is produced by lightly heating shea nut butter to separate the fractionated and non-fractionated make up of the material.
Shea nut oil is an ideal ingredient used throughout the cosmetic industry in the manufacturing of moisturizing skincare products. Its physical properties allow it to easily absorb into the skin promoting skin elasticity; and will not leave an oily or greasy residue typical of many oils. Shea nut oil is a great natural emollient and can be used for dry skin and hair. Shea nut oil is especially favorable for massage therapists in hot oil treatments.
NOTE:
This product contains shea oil, a byproduct of shea butter production where the pressing of the seeds produces a fractionated oil. Shea oil will solidify when stored in cool area or when shipped during colder weather. This is normal and does not affect the longevity or function of the product. To re-liquify this product, place the sealed container in a warm water bath and shake well to reincorporate the shea oil.
Caution:
All oils and gels regardless of brand, can be combustible. Use caution when laundering linens that have been exposed to oils and gels. Oil and gel products are potentially combustible when exposed to heat in the dryer. Consult dryer manufacturer’s guidelines for drying linens that have been exposed to oils and gels.
