This natural lip balm base offer exceptional protection for your lips.
Castor bean oil, hemp oil, olive oil, shea butter and meadowfoam seed
oil, makes this product low in linoleic acid. With the addition of
vitamin E, its very stable to oxidation. The hemp oil contains
additional vitamins, minerals and Omega 3 & 6, capable of
restorative properties. An exceptional product that for every 16oz
container, will yield 64 - 1/4oz pots
Usage & Recipes:
Note: NOT FOR LIP "STICK" TYPE CONTAINERS.
Our Natural Lip Balm Base is a melt & pour product:
1) Place Lip Balm Base into a double boiler and set your burner to
medium.
2) Items will melt quickly, if you have a thermometer, check temperature,
it should be around 65-70c / 140-160f.
3) Use oil-soluble pigments or micas made for oil based products. Add your
colors and mix thoroughly. Pour a small amount in a clear container and
wait for it to set for 20-30 minutes. You will notice the colors tend to lighten
as the product goes opaque.
4) Only add flavor fragrances to the Lip Balm
Base, 1 teaspoon flavor fragrance per 16oz base. Strength will vary on the
type of flavor fragrance
5) Pour into your choice of containers. TIP: If product is poured too hot, you will notice
a well or dip in the center of the product when it cools.

Soy Wax, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Capric/Capryllic Triglycerides, Natural Beeswax, Canibis Sativa (Hemp)
Seed Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit
Oil, Limanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Tocopheryl (Vitamin E).
