Description:
Flat basic brick red iron oxide. A stable and staple color for all kinds of projects. This is a very intense hue and a little will go a long way. Our Iron Oxide Pigments are approved by the FDA for use in cosmetics being applied to the skin and eye area. Iron oxides are produced with ferrous sulfate. They are 100% natural and have been filtered of all harmful impurities. There are less expensive iron oxides on the market that have not been filtered and may contain lead, arsenic or mercury. We do not carry those less expensive iron oxides. Our Iron Oxide Pigments are water soluble and should be mixed with the water part of your lotion or soap formula. They will clump or speckle in mp soap if too much is used. They do not migrate in layered mp soap.
