Studies have shown that this particular form of Vitamin E is the best antioxidant for cosmetic applications. It has a higher amount of gamma tocopherols compared to pharmaceutical Vitamin E pills. It will not prevent bacterial growth but will prevent oils from turning brown and going rancid.
