Matte finish, pure in tone. Use by itself or to deepen the tone of other colors. This all natural color has been filtered of harmful impurities. When used in clear bases, the color will not remain transparent. A pastel color is produced in opaque (white) bases.

Description:
Our Iron Oxide Pigments are approved by the FDA for use in cosmetics being applied to the skin and eye area. Iron oxides are produced with ferrous sulfate. They are 100% natural and have been filtered of all harmful impurities. There are less expensive iron oxides on the market that have not been filtered and may contain lead, arsenic or mercury. We do not carry those less expensive iron oxides. Our Iron Oxide Pigments are water soluble and should be mixed with the water part of your lotion or soap formula. They will clump or speckle in mp soap if too much is used. They do not migrate in layered mp soap.



Usage & Guidelines:
Approved for use on: lips, eyes, face, nails.

I like how it mixes in the white melt and pour but it does take some whisking in order to get it to fully incorporate. Unfortunately, the extra whisking causes bubbles.
